Approximately 21 miles from the Museum, Blue Sky Ecological Reserve is more than 600 acres of valley riparian, coastal sage scrub, and mixed chaparral habitats. Enjoy a leisurely stroll beneath a canopy of giant oaks while listening to water rippling over rocks in a nearby stream. Blue Sky Ecological Reserve is free and open during daylight hours only. It is operated by the City of Poway with support from the Friends of Blue Sky Canyon.
