Chino Hills State Park is 101 miles from the Museum. Visit for a day hike or an overnight stay amid chaparral and coastal sage scrub habitats. This natural open-space is in the hills of Santa Ana Canyon near Riverside and boasts stands of sycamores and rolling grassy hills serving as a refuge for many plant and animal species. Chino Hills State Park has 90 miles of trails and fire roads allowing visitors multiple opportunities to enjoy the park.
