Only 37 miles from the Museum, Daley Ranch is a 3,058-acre conservation area acquired in 1996 by the City of Escondido offering more than 20 miles of trails suitable for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. The popular Boulder Loop is a 2.4 mile trail that will have you climb a steep trail to the top of a ridge where you’ll take in sweeping views of hills covered in chaparral, oak woodlands, riparian areas, and coastal sage scrub.
