Mission Manzanita

Tags:

The Mission Manzanita (Xylococcus bicolor) is a hardy shrub found only in a very limited range in southern California and northern Baja California chaparral habitats. It can be seen in some areas of western Riverside County, Los Angeles County and frequently in San Diego County. This shrub has a burl and re-sprouts well after a wildfire.
